Internet Marketing Product Launches and The Gurus Who Do Them

Over the years, since 1998 or so, I've done a lot of things on the internet related to product marketing.

I've done home improvement CPA, I've done information products, I've done E-Bay, I've done all kinds of things to help others LEARN how to get started, what to do, what to avoid and so forth.

What I HAVEN'T done however, is participate in a big product launch with some guru and his cadre of Joint Venture (JV) partners, where all those partners get on the bandwagon, send out glowing recommendations of the NEW IMPROVED SECRET TOOLS which will allow the LUCKY few who are QUICK to DOMINATE the top spot on Google's first page in the highly valued ORGANIC LISTINGS.

I find those techniques beneath contempt.

The very idea itself is repugnant and on careful thought, can't POSSIBLY be true for the very simple reason that there's NO WAY in creation that everyone who invests in the highly touted product is going to achieve the coveted top spot on the first page of results in Google's organic search results.

It can't be done.

For ANY search term, and I mean ANY, there can be ONE AND ONLY ONE first page first organic result.

That is a fact.

Add to that the fact that the person who invests in this NEW IMPROVED so on and so forth product gets the bejeezus beat out of him with OTO pages, FREE bonuses with 'BUT WAIT...you can upgrade this FREE BONUS to the FULL PREMIUM membership for a mere $xx.xx more for the NEXT 60 seconds' but you have to act fast.

So fast, in fact, that you don't have time to think about what it was that the bonus was all about in the first place.

It's all a joke.

It's all designed to overload the unsuspecting guy with what amounts to the very thing the gurus all say is the very worst thing you can have and that's INFORMATION OVERLOAD.

So, I've avoided appending my 2 bits to JV product launches. I hate 'em.

It's About Learning, Growing and Helping

This is where I'll review and, from time to time, recommend products, websites, and methods for folks who want to multiply their income by creating multiple streams of revenue. In a word, it's about helping.

Many potential entrepreneurs are put off by the sheer volume of information sources, the seemingly overwhelming flood of opinion, at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. This and the following posts and pages have a three-pronged purpose: To assist you, to reassure you and to bolster your resolve.

How?

By examining new offerings of new and established sources, testing the products, evaluating the claims for those products against the actual performance, and posting reviews and recommendations; praises and condemnations; pros and cons.

If a product or method offers real and doable value, I'll be using the product myself with positive results (which I'll report here in as much detail as practical and permissable). If the product or method is a stinker, when the review is published I'll have used the product or method, and I'll post those results and opinions here as well.

When I do make a recommendation, it will be as a product affiliate, just so you'll KNOW in advance. I won't ever recommend anything I'm not using successfully, and which I believe that YOU TOO will be able to use to your own financial advantage.
